How do I deactivate an employee?

It is a best practice to deactivate former employees.


To deactivate an employee:

  • Log-into EMconnect 

  • From  the home screen,  go to  My Tools & Tasks in Manager Must Haves

  • Tap Manage EMconnect Users and select Active to see the list of your active employees

  • Select the employee(s) that you wish to deactivate, and swipe left to deactivate (iOS) or tap Deactivate


If you accidentally deactivate a current employee tap 'Deactivated', select the employee you wish to reactivate swipe right (iOS) or tap 'Activate'  to reactivate the selected employee.


WebAdmin:

FMAs and Branded Wholesaler Admins can reactivate and deactivate employees using the EMconnect WebAdmin.

  • Login to the EMconnect Web Admin

  • Select 'User Management' and then select 'Users'

  • Click the dropdown menu and select ‘Active Users'

  • Search for the employee you wish to Deactivate and click on the user to open the 'User Details' box

  • Go to 'Status', click the dropdown menu and select ‘Deactivate' 

  • Click 'Update' and close to save the changes.
