Why is my content different from my colleagues?

There are a few reasons why your content may be different:


  1. Old app version

You may not see new content if you or your colleague has not updated EMconnect to the most recent version. Be sure to check for update notifications and keep your EMconnect app current.


  1. Segmentation

Content segmentation is an EMconnect feature that allows geographically specific promotions, programs, and actions to be pushed to individuals. You may receive different content if your colleagues' site is located in a different city or state, or if you have different job roles (i.e. Cashier, Site Manager, Branded Wholesaler Staff, Branded Wholesaler Admin, ExxonMobil Employee, and Field Marketing Advisors) and may receive segmented messages.


  1. Basic vs. full access

You may be waiting for your account to be approved. In the interim, you will have basic (limited) access.
